Jesus is the hope for your soul!

WHEN YOU DIE, WHERE WILL YOU GO?

One day we must all die. God tells us,

* “It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.”
Hebrews 9:27

There is a day already set when you will die, and  nothing can change this. It could be today . . . then what?

* God says, “After death…the judgment.”

Friend, one day you will die. Then you will stand all alone before Almighty God, the Creator of all things; and He will judge you for every single word, deed, and thought!

* “Each one of us shall give account of himself to God.”  Romans 14:12

God says that after the judgment, He will send you either to Heaven or to Hell Fire … forever.

You will never come back to this life again.

WHERE WILL GOD SEND YOU?

GOD LOVES YOU AND

WANTS TO SAVE YOU FROM HELL FIRE

THE PROBLEM IS YOUR SIN

There is only One True and Living God and He alone is the Creator of all things.   Isaiah 45:5, 12

* “I am the Lord, and there is no other. Beside Me there is no god. It is I who made the earth and created man upon it.

I stretched out the Heavens with My hands.”

God, our Creator, gave us 10 commandments that we must obey perfectly if we are to go to Heaven. If we disobey these, God calls this “sin.” God is absolutely Perfect, and so He cannot allow sin in His presence. But instead, God must punish every act of disobedience in Hell Fire.

* “God will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.”
Exodus 34:7

THESE ARE GOD’S 10 COMMANDMENTS

HAVE YOU OBEYED THEM?

You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make for yourself an idol (an image). You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy…, in it you shall not do any work.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder (or hate).
You shall not commit adultery (sex not in marriage).
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness (lie).
You shall not covet (selfishly desire things).

God says if you disobey even one,

YOU ARE GUILTY OF ALL!

* “Whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles at one point, he has become guilty of all.”
James 2:10

YOUR SINS WILL TAKE YOU TO HELL FIRE

* “There is none righteous, no not one. There is none who understands, none who seeks for God. There is none who does good, not even one… All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:10-23

God is Holy, and we are all guilty sinners. God says if you commit even one sin, you are guilty. And because of your sin, you will be separated from God, both now… and forever, in Hell fire.

* ”Your iniquities (sins) have made a separation between you and your God.”  Isaiah 59:2

Listen to these frightening words from God

* “Do not be deceived; idol worshippers, the sexually immoral (sex not in marriage), adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, drunkards, and the greedy will not inherit the Kingdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9,10

* “They will drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger, and they will be tormented with fire and brimstone day and night forever and ever.”
Revelation 14:10

* “The unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sorcerers (drug abusers) and all liars will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone.”
Revelation 21:8

* Jesus said, “Into Hell, where the fire never goes out.”
Mark 9:43

HELL IS A REAL PLACE

Friend, God says Hell is a real place. The Bible says it is a place of Eternal Torment where God will punish all sinners, even liars, in a Lake of Burning Fire forever and ever. It is a place of “darkness” where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth.” It is a place of Eternal Separation from the goodness and love of God. Once you are there, you can never escape. You will be a prisoner there forever, being condemned by God in Fire because of your sin.

* “In flaming fire, taking vengeance on those who do

not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the

Lord and from the glory of His power.”
2 Thessalonians 1:8,9

YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF

* Only “God saves us – not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy.”  Titus 3:5

* “All of our righteous deeds are like a filthy rag.”
Isaiah 64:6

All of your good deeds and your confessions, prayers, fasting, baptism, sacrifices and idol worship are all nothing before God. They cannot take away your sin. They cannot save you from the wrath of God. Friend, if you are trusting your good deeds or your religion to save you, you are in big trouble because only God can take away your sin and save you, but only “according to His mercy,” not on the basis of deeds.

GOD LOVES YOU

ONLY HE CAN SAVE YOU

God is a God of infinite Love and Mercy, and even though we are guilty because of our sin, God loves us and wants to save us. God loves us so much He gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ, to be punished in our place, to be crucified and nailed to the cross for our sin.

* “God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16

Jesus is the Son of God, and has always lived with God in Heaven. But 2,000 years ago Jesus came down to earth and became a man, so He could die for our sins to save us from Hell Fire.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

* “God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8

* “Christ carried our sins in His body on the cross.”

* “Christ died for our sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God.”
1 Peter 2:24; 3:18

* “He was pierced through for our transgressions (sins). He was crushed for our iniquities (sins). The punishment for our wellbeing fell upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way. But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.”  Isaiah 53:5, 6

* “In Christ we have redemption through His blood,

the forgiveness of sins.”
Ephesians 1:7

JESUS DIED FOR YOU

Dear Friend, Jesus Christ was crucified for you. He was punished for your sins. He shed His blood to pay the penalty for your sins, so you could be forgiven. On the cross, Jesus suffered God’s full wrath and judgment for your sin. His death completely paid the penalty for your sin. God loved you so much, He punished His only Son in your place, so you could go free.

Jesus Paid it All!

JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD

Not only was Jesus crucified for your sins, but 3 days later, God raised Him from the dead!

* “Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. He was buried, He was raised on the third day

according to the Scriptures… after that

He appeared to more than 500 believers.”

1 Corinthians 15:3-6

Jesus is Alive!  Jesus is the Son of God!

Friend, Jesus can save you because He died for your sins; and then He rose from the dead! More than 500 people saw Him alive. They touched Him, spoke with Him, and even ate with Him! Then after 40 days, Jesus went back up into Heaven, where He is now… preparing a place for those who trust in Him as their Lord and Saviour.

And one day soon, Jesus is coming back

to judge the world. John 5:22, 23

* Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

No one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

1 – Repent Toward God

* Jesus said, “Unless you repent you will…perish.”

Luke 13:3

Friend, confess your sin and turn away from it, and

Turn to the One True Living God to be saved.

Stop trusting in your good deeds and your religion to save you, and turn to the Lord Jesus, now, before it is too late!

* “God, have mercy on me, the sinner!”

2 – Put Your Faith in Jesus Christ Alone

You must not only turn away from your sin and from trusting in your good deeds, but now you must turn to Jesus Christ and trust in Him alone to be your Lord and Saviour. If you do, then God will forgive you of all your sins and save you from Hell

. . . and He will make you His child forever.

* “As many as received Jesus, to them

He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”
John 1:12

* “By faith in Jesus Christ we have peace with God.”
Romans 5:1

* “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus… will be saved.”
Romans 10:13

Jesus, remember me in Your Kingdom.

WHAT MUST I DO?

1 – Repent toward God

He who covers his sins will not prosper.

But he who confesses and forsakes them will receive mercy.
Proverbs 28:13

Unless you repent you will … perish.
Luke13:3

2 – Faith in Jesus Christ Alone By grace are you saved through faith, Not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Not of good works.        Ephesians 2:8, 9

Man is not forgiven by keeping the Law, but through faith in Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:16

Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) will be saved.
Romans 10:13

“Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
Luke 23:42
